I was born in the Caribbean island of Jamaica. After moving to Ft. Lauderdale, Fl when I was 5. Cooking was something that was instilled in me at a young age. It was something that I gravitated to and enjoyed it. Becoming a chef was something I knew I wanted to do. Like many great chefs of the past and chefs to come, I'm self taught. Landing my first job as a prep cook in Miami I quickly moved up in the kitchen. After 3 years in Miami I went to go work for the famed Chef Gordon Ramsey restaurant called Cielo. I rose to up threw the ranks and became jr sous chef in the kitchen. Happy but not satisfied I packed my bags and moved to New York City for a chef dream adventure. My first job in nyc was with the legendary Michel White, followed by Paul Liebrandt and then Marc Forgione. I moved back to Florida in 2014 to open a restaurant with my old Chef as the Chef de Cuisine. I'm currently working at The Grove in delray beach as Ex sous chef
