My name is Olivier Leon paultre (chefpaultre)I was born in st Marc Haiti. Came to the USA at the age of 14 I graduated from coconut creek high school. I moved to New York in 2011 to further my education. I wanted to go to college to become an FBI agent but I had a change of heart. Ironically my passion went from working with the government to becoming a chef. I eventually went to school to obtain my certification In the culinary field. I graduated in 2013 I've started working for several places bringing my skill to the table. I started my own catering company in 2015. Also in the early 2017 I've help open a restaurant in killeen Texas. As of today just doing free lancing work. My goal in the future is to open my own restaurant in the states and also in my country Haiti. I want to share my experience with upcoming chef who may have the same goals as I do. I want to start a trend in the cooking industry with American food infused with Haitian spices. I want to expose Haiti more to the American tradition of cooking. I want to create a name for myself cooking while I represent my country
